PAF Day 4: Spirited Away, Aladdin, Joanne Robertson & closing party
The final yet most in many ways most exciting day of PAF 2017 is today. Following the screening of Hayao Miyazaki’s classic Spirited Away (10am @ Kino Metropol) will be a talk & presentation of the project Spectacular Empire by the British musician Gaika. Last chance to get familiar with films of Lawrence Lek will be at 2pm when a screening of his film Geomancer takes place. Read more in the article.
An exciting culture clash will occur at 3pm when the animated Disney classic from the early 90’s, Aladdin will be presented in the baroque Corpus Christi Chapel. From 1pm till 7pm you’ll have a last chance to draw in virtual space using with your attention at the office of Dr.Mozek and the programme is climaxing from 6pm onwards: an acoustic show by the cellist Oliver Coates in the Chapel, a screening of the film Slides by the Czech artist Martin Kohout, recent laureate of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award. At 8pm winners of Other Visions will be announced and in a short while will follow an intimate concert of the British songwriter Joanne Robertson along with the project KOOL MUSIC. Last but not least the infamous afterparty in Vertigo Club will become legendary again from 9:30pm until Monday morning.
