The audience can look forward to a screening of the Disney classic Aladdin in a baroque chapel, a lecture on witches in popular culture and an art installation in a cinema basement. Full programme of the 16th edition of the festival includes more than 100 screenings, talks, workshops and exhibitions held in 22 different locations across the historical city of Olomouc.
Among the new programme is a live show and talk by the dystopian dancehall-deconstructing artist Gaika, who will present his recent record Spectacular Empire. Also on the bill is the British songwriter Joanne Robertson with Jasper Baydala’s project KOOL MUSIC and a screening of the film Slides by the Berlin-based Czech artist Martin Kohout, a piece that recently won Kohout the prestigious Jindřich Chalupecký Award.
Entrance to all events is free for the festival pass holders. Remaining early bird 1-day and 4-day passes are on sale only until November 30th only. A limited run of regular price passes will be available online until December 5th and throughout the festival in the Festival Office where tickets for separate events will also be available.
